Community Partnerships for Social Change –Hampshire College, Amherst, MA
In the spring of 2010, 2050 Legacy embarked on a partnership with The Community Partnerships for Social Change
organization at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Partnering with CPSC on rehearsal and possible

Greater Hartford Academy for the Arts – Hartford, CT
This past September, 2050 Legacy was invited to teach a community building social justice performance class at the Greater Hartford Academy for the Arts. This high school level course titled "2050 Legacy Performance" focused on the culture of hip-hip its evolution and the affects on students and society. I addition to looking at the history and evolution of hip-hop working with students to develop their understanding of others and expressing themselves through creative arts. The class was a challenge but was very successful. Students shared with us how rare it was to have a class that focused on them as individuals and the societal issues we discussed in class. 2050 Legacy has been asked to continue this course in the following school year.

The Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics – New York, NY
The Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics is a collaborative, multilingual and interdisciplinary network of institutions, artists, scholars, and activists throughout the Americas. Working at the intersection of scholarship, artistic expression and politics, the organization explores embodied practice—performance—as a vehicle for the creation of new meaning and the transmission of cultural values, memory and identity.

2050 Legacy has been offered the great opportunity of working with the Hemispheric Institute to develop a strong New York City base for the foundation of the 2050 Legacy organization. Utilizing Hemi’s resources and connections including artistic mentorship, and administration direction, to help 2050 Legacy grow and flourish as an organization.
